Last Planner System® and Pull Plan Boot Camp
Class date and time: Friday, August 22, 2025 | 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
Audience: Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, Trade Partners, Project Engineers, and anyone involved in construction planning and execution.

Course Overview:
This interactive boot camp provides hands-on training in the Last Planner System® (LPS) and Pull Planning—cornerstones of Lean Construction that drive reliability, collaboration, and continuous improvement in project delivery. Participants will gain a deep understanding of how to apply LPS and Pull Planning techniques to reduce variability, increase workflow predictability, and improve team accountability.

Key Learning Objectives:
Understand the principles and phases of the Last Planner System®
Learn how to conduct effective Pull Plan sessions that engage stakeholders in sequencing work collaboratively based on actual handoffs, not assumptions.
Practice the use of visual planning tools.
Develop skills for improving team communication, planning reliability, and production tracking.
Learn how to facilitate conversations that lead to better coordination, fewer surprises, and a more proactive approach to field execution.

What to Expect:
Simulations and role-playing to experience the full lifecycle of a pull plan
Step-by-step guidance on setting up and running LPS systems on your jobsite
Tips and best practices from Lean Construction expert
Tools and techniques you can immediately use in your projects

Outcomes:
By the end of this boot camp, participants will be equipped to lead and contribute to pull planning sessions, implement the Last Planner System® on their projects, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement in construction delivery.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation requests must be received in writing via email at least 7 business days before the training. In those circumstances, registration fees will be refunded, minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellation requests received less than 7 business days before training cannot be refunded.  The request must be sent in writing via email to parham@agcga.org. Substitutions are encouraged and can also be request via email to Cindy Parham. Confirmation to registered participants will be provided prior to the event via email. 

AGC Georgia reserves the right to cancel programs up to 7 days prior to the start date if a minimum number of attendees is not met.

Meet Your Instructor - Spencer Hohn, Certified Lean Instructor
As a seasoned Lean Construction Leader and former Army Engineer Officer, Spencer brings over 14 years of military service and 10+ years of senior experience in construction operations, project management, and organizational leadership. Currently serving as the Senior Lean Manager at Consigli Construction, Spencer leads enterprise-wide Lean initiatives—focusing on the implementation of the Last Planner System® and Pull Planning to drive continuous improvement across projects.

Spencer's career spans leadership roles at national construction firms, where he has trained thousands of professionals and helped standardize Lean practices across portfolios valued up to $5 billion. Drawing on his military background, he specializes in blending operational discipline with proven Lean strategies to enhance team collaboration, optimize workflows, and deliver high-value outcomes.
