Highlights from the 2017 South Georgia and Southwest Georgia Skills Challenge


Construction students from these schools plan to compete in the South Georgia and Southwest Georgia Skills Challenge.

Competitions will be held in the following skill categories:
                            Blueprint Reading                     Carpentry                     Electrical                     Masonry                     Plumbing                     Welding


Industry is invited to support this event in a variety of ways! 
  • Volunteer company representatives to serve as judges for each of the six skill competitions
  • Offer hands-on activities for students to participate in to get more familiar with specific trades
  • Host an exhibit table for students to learn more from you and your team and what career paths your firm offers
  • Serve as a sponsor of the South Georgia and Southwest Georgia Skills Challenge

    • Host Sponsor - $2,500
      - Premium company logo on participant t-shirts
      - Premium company logo on printed and electronic event promotional materials
      - Company banner, provided by your company, displayed at event
      - Booth space provided, hosts receive first choice of location
      - Logo featured on Competitor Bags
      - Opportunity to place promotional items in competitor bags
      - Opportunity to address crowd and competitors from stage during lunch
