Leadership Development

AGC Georgia provides leadership development opportunities for the seasoned executive, the up and coming young professional and everyone in between. Whether you are in a leadership role in the office, overseeing a project team, or supervising workers on a jobsite, your skills and capabilities as an effective leader are at play. Developing and improving one’s leadership competencies is an ongoing process that requires a commitment to life-long learning regardless of how successful you are or the position you hold.

For young industry professionals employed by AGC Georgia member firms, you have an opportunity to participate in the Young Leadership Program (YLP). Here the focus is on developing your leadership potential, building leadership skills, familiarizing you with the AGC organization, networking and sharing ideas with industry peers, and learning best industry practices. YLP participants are actively involved in the program’s charitable giving and community service efforts raising monies and securing goods that are distributed to worthy causes and charitable groups.
