NPDES Level 1A Fundamentals Course and Exam (Blue Card)
The Level 1A Fundamentals Seminar is a one day course designed to train contractors, builders, developers, site superintendents, grading and utility contractors, and monitoring consultants in the proper installation, maintenance, and inspection of best management practices (BMPs) on construction sites.
Once completing the course and passing the exam with a score of 70%, you will be instructed on how to submit certificate application.
NPDES Re-Certification of Level 1A, 1B, or Level II
This course is GSWCC approved to renew Level 1A Fundamentals (
Blue Card), Level 1B (
Red Card) or Level II (
Tan or
Gray Cards). The course is 4 hours, and there is no test. Upon completion of the course and upon the Commission receiving your Lawful Presence forms (filled out and notarized in class), your certification will be renewed for an additional 3 years from your original expiration date.
