Classroom Safety Training

Both AGC Georgia members and non-members can take advantage of the many safety training opportunities offered in a classroom setting throughout the year. Trainings cover both basic and more advanced safety, as well as health and environmental topics. Each of these classes, taught by experienced and qualified instructors, are designed to help make your job sites safer and ensure the safety and well-being of your workforce.

While the majority of classes are held at AGC Georgia's headquarters in Atlanta, some safety courses are offered around the state when sufficient demand exists within a region. Also, in response to a member request, we often arrange to have safety training delivered at a company's office exclusively for their employees.

Safety training topics include some of the following:
  • OSHA Subpart CC-Crane Standard
  • EPA Lead Certified Renovator
  • Scaffold Safety
  • Silica
  • Fall Protection
  • Steel Erection
  • OSHA 10 and 30 Hour
  • First Aid/CPR
  • Competent Person: Trenching & Excavation
