About the Course

Looking to streamline your construction projects while enhancing quality and reducing costs?  The Lean Construction Education Program is your answer.  This comprehensive 36-hour program is designed for construction professionals at all levels.  It teaches the Lean Operating System, focusing on continuous improvements for every aspect of a construction project, from planning to recycling.

The program includes five units, covering everything form the introduction to Lean Construction to applying Lean thinking outside of field production.  You'll learn about process efficiency, variation mitigation, the Last Planner System, and much more.  Plus, participants have the opportunity to apply for an exam to earn the Certificate of Management - Lean Construction (CM-Lean), signifying a deep understanding of Lean principles and practices.

Whether you're a seasoned professional or new to the field, this program will provide the knowledge and skills to transform your projects and company into a model Lean efficiency.

LCEP Learning Objectives
Students participating in AGC's five-unit Lean Construction Education program will be eligible to take an exam to earn their CM-Lean. 
The AGC Certificate of Management - Lean Construction (CM-Lean) is an assessment-based certificate credential that denotes knowledge and understanding of concepts related to lean adoption, practice, and process transformation outlined in AGC's Lean Construction Education Program.  Successful candidates will carry the CM-Lean designation. 

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation requests must be received in writing at least 7 business days before the training.  In those circumstances, registration fees will be refunded, minus a 10% processing fee.  Cancellation requests received less than 7 business days before training cannot be refunded.  The request must be sent in writing via email to parham@agcga.org

AGC Georgia reserves the right to cancel programs up to 7 days prior to the start date if a minimum number of attendees is not met.


Meet Your Instructor - Spencer Hohn, Certified Lean Instructor
As a seasoned Lean Construction Leader and former Army Engineer Officer, Spencer brings over 14 years of military service and 10+ years of senior experience in construction operations, project management, and organizational leadership. Currently serving as the Senior Lean Manager at Consigli Construction, Spencer leads enterprise-wide Lean initiatives—focusing on the implementation of the Last Planner System® and Pull Planning to drive continuous improvement across projects.

Spencer's career spans leadership roles at national construction firms, where he has trained thousands of professionals and helped standardize Lean practices across portfolios valued up to $5 billion. Drawing on his military background, he specializes in blending operational discipline with proven Lean strategies to enhance team collaboration, optimize workflows, and deliver high-value outcomes.
