You and your guests are invited to join us in beautiful Asheville, NC for AGC Georgia's Fall Leadership Conference. This annual conference brings members together for learning, recreation, socializing and fun you don't want to miss!

We are excited to offer leadership development seminars on the mornings of October 22 and 23. These programs are designed to provide valuable insights and practical tools to enhance your leadership effectiveness as both a team leader and team member. Afternoons during the conference are open for you to take advantage of area activities. On Saturday afternoon, join us to cheer on your favorite college football team on the big screens during our football party! Members attending this conference in the past tell us they most enjoy connecting with other industry professionals in a comfortable, relaxed setting.

RESERVATION INFORMATION

Rooms at The Omni Grove Park Inn start at $349. | Our rate ends on September 24, 2021 or when the contracted room block is filled, whichever comes first.

• Reservations can be made through the online portal -Click here 
• Reservations can be made by phone: Call the Central Reservations Office at 800-438-5800. Please mention "AGC Georgia Fall Leadership Conference" to receive our rates.
• Rate is honored based on availability October 17 through October 26.

If you have any problems booking your hotel room for the conference please reach out to Machell Harper at harper@agcga.org or 678-298-4108. Once our room block is sold out, she'll hold a wait list. There is no guarantee a room will become available, after the block sells out, but if you'd like to be put on a wait list, Machell can help you.

Notes:

1. Check-in is after 4:00 pm.
2. Accessible and pet rooms have limited availability. Make these these requests as early as possible. There is an additional $200 charge for reserving a pet friendly room.
3. One night's room and tax is charged for early departures.
4. Daily resort fee of $10 is charged per night. (This includes entrance to the sports complex.)
5. Overnight parking is $18 for self-parking and $25 for valet.

• Elaine’s Dueling Piano Bar just reopened and hours of operation are only Friday & Saturday 8:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.

Spa Information

Please note, due to overall demand, we are unable to guarantee the availability of Spa day passes or Spa treatments on any specific day. GPI recommends guests make spa reservations at the time they make their room reservation to ensure the best selection and times. Guests can book spa treatments by calling the Central Reservations Office 800-438-5800. A confirmed room reservation is required to book a spa appointment.

Leadership Development Sessions 

Building More Influence by Being a 100X Leader and Organization

Our speaker for this year's leadership development sessions is Skot Waldron. His focus is on helping people and businesses learn how to communicate more effectively. He believes you have to be healthy on the inside (culture) in order to truly be healthy on the outside (marketing). He helps with both.

All attendees will be asked to complete a 5 Voices Assessment. These results will add more context and create a more immersive experience during the sessions.

The core phases to becoming a 100X leader and organization are:

1. Become
2. Build
3. Lead

On Friday, October 22, discussion will focus on "Become" as Skot takes us through the the 5 Voices Assessment. He'll talk about the characteristics of each voice. The conversation will also touch on the "Build" phase which talks about how you multiply leadership into other people on your team.

On Saturday, October 21, the group will concentrate on the "Lead" content which talks more about leading a team effectively in today's evolving business world.
