AGC Georgia is proud to invite you a series of Members First meetings dedicated to construction safety. For the seventh consecutive year, we are hosting Ron Amerson Supervisors’ Safety Award ceremonies in conjunction with safety programs offered in seven cities across Georgia. It’s an honor to recognize our members’ safest field supervisors in their own backyard or in a city close to the supervisors’ current jobsite.

All company executives, safety directors, and project managers who work with each of the award-winning supervisors are encouraged to join them for their ceremony. As the saying goes, safety starts at the top, and what better way to
tell your field supervisors you are proud of their efforts and appreciate their dedication to a safe jobsite than by being present when they receive their award!

Don’t miss this dynamic presentation on the definition of Human Performance.  Have you ever wondered why someone has an accident and asked yourself, “What were they thinking, or I can’t believe they did that, or why weren’t they paying attention?” Gene Scott will focus on answers to these questions and how they relate to human performance.

About the presenter: Gene Scott retired as the Corporate Safety and Health Specialist for Georgia Power with responsibilities for safety and health for approximately 1,500 people across the state of Georgia including the Corporate Headquarters facility, by providing and coordinating training, safety briefings, safety presentations and ensuring the company was not only in compliance with OSHA regulations, but assisted in Georgia Power’s implementation of Human Performance.
