AGC Georgia’s 2018-2019 President Kevin Kuntz is looking forward to visiting with many of you in your hometowns and learning how AGC Georgia can better serve you and your team. This meeting is a great time for you to invite a friendly competitor who is not already an AGC Georgia member to the luncheon to share the association’s benefits. Please plan to join us at one of the meetings near your office or jobsite!

During the first half of his term, Kevin enjoyed meeting with leadership from AGC Georgia’s Executive Alliance and Young Leadership Program. He believes these two groups are outstanding avenues for seasoned professionals and those looking to make their mark on the industry. He’s excited to answer any questions you have about the programs, too.

He is also front and center in the workforce development conversation. Even prior to beginning his term, Kevin has always enjoyed getting out to the technical schools and high schools. He likes sharing with young people how they can build a great career by working in the trades and learning building skills or advancing into management positions through the trades or construction programs. He’s personally been blessed to experience both paths.

After spending time at each of the four regional Skills Challenges during November 2018, he’s also a champion for those events. Just as important as educating the students on career paths, Kevin believes the Skills Challenges are vehicles to introduce community leaders, school counselors, parents and so many other influencers to benefits of construction education. He’ll look for your input on how AGC Georgia can leverage your local communities to do even more outreach.

Mike Dunham, AGC Georgia’s CEO, will join Kevin on his tour. They are looking forward to learning what’s going on in your local markets, getting your reaction to proposals up for debate in the 2019 General Assembly and having an open conversation about how AGC Georgia can be of service.
