The Associated General Contractors of America's Supervisory Training Program (STP) is a construction-specific training curriculum developed, updated and field-tested by and for contractors. Supervisory skill - or the lack of it - directly affects every company's bottom line. Your firm makes its money in the field, and STP can help you improve your organization's bottom line.
This session will cover the roles and responsibilities of a construction supervisor in accident prevention and loss control.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation requests must be received in writing at least 7 business days before the training. In those circumstances, registration fees will be refunded, minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellation requests received less than 7 business days before training cannot be refunded. The request must be sent in writing via email to parham@agcga.org
Meet Your Instructor: Brian Wood, VP of Safety & Loss Prevention with CompTrust AGC Mutual Captive Insurance Company (MCIC)
Brian is a Senior Safety Consultant with CompTrust AGC. In this role, he conducts safety training and loss prevention inspections and works closely with each of the workers' compensation policy holder firms to evaluate risk potential and develop a workable plan to reduce their risk of injury or loss.
Specializing in the construction industry, Brian has over 35 years of construction industry experience as a general contractor, building inspector, with over 23 years of those years serving as a safety consultant.
He holds the following credentials, Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Instructional Trainer (CIT), Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) and earned his Certificate in Construction Safety and Health from the Georgia Institute of Technology Professional Education. He is an authorized trainer for the Construction and General Industry OSHA 10 and 30 hour courses. Brian also provides instruction in competent person development and has taught hundreds of classes for many AGC Georgia member companies through his work with the association's workers' compensation program, CompTrust AGC MCIC.
Brian is an active member of the Georgia Chapter of American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) and AGC Georgia's Safety Committee.
