XLD-Hybrid Offering of Human Performance - Part 2

View Flyer

Notes:

  • Human Performance I is a prerequisite to this course.
  • This course is offered for both in-seat participation and virtual attendance.

Human Performance is not an additional safety program. Instead, we must revise our current systems to be in line with the concepts. In this course, we teach you how to implement Human Performance into your safety culture. We will discuss the movement away from root cause analysis to formal event learning. In this new view, there is no singular root cause to an incident. Root cause analysis works for explaining equipment failure, not human failure. Instead, there are multiple causal factors and latent conditions that trigger events.

What you will learn:

  • How to structure and conduct formal event learning teams to uncover the latent conditions that contribute to events.
  • How to create new defenses to prevent future events.
  • How to build a team of HP Champions to implement Human Performance concepts into your safety culture.

To improve safety performance, we must provide our team with the best safety science available.

AGC Georgia reserves the right to cancel programs up to 7 days prior to the start date if a minimum number of attendees is not met.
