For 18 years, AGC Georgia and the American Council of Engineering Companies of Georgia (ACEC) have hosted a joint legislative event for our members to meet with each other and visit with legislative and state officials. You are encouraged to extend a personal invitation to your legislators to come as your complimentary guest to breakfast.

The keynote speaker for the breakfast program is Attorney General Christopher Carr. In November 2016, Carr was sworn in as Georgia’s 54th Attorney General. Prior to his appointment, Carr served as Commissioner of the Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD). He led the state agency responsible for creating jobs and investment in Georgia through business recruitment, retention and expansion, international trade and tourism, as well as the arts, film and music industries. During his tenure at GDEcD, Georgia was recognized as the top state in the nation in which to do business for three consecutive years. He looks forward to sharing his expertise on Georgia’s business climate and taking your questions.

Capitol Tour & Legislator Visits
CAPITOL TOUR AND LEGISLATOR VISITS At 9:15 am, participants will walk together to the Capitol from the front steps of the Sloppy Floyd Building. At 10:00 am, gather in Room xxx at the Capitol for visits with Agency Officials and Legislators.
