About the Course
Many owners and prime contractors require completion of this course prior to working on certain projects.

Through live instruction by seasoned construction professionals, participants will learn how to recognize construction hazards and implement corrective measures. Course content covers the full spectrum of construction safety from Subpart A through Subpart Z.

While this course is geared toward management, supervisors and others who work with a broad variety of construction standards, anyone in the construction industry will benefit from this curriculum.

Upon successful course completion, attendees receive an OSHA 30-Hour Construction Outreach Course card. The card is issued by the Georgia Tech Outreach Training Institute and is typically available 3-4 weeks after the course concludes.

AGC Georgia reserves the right to cancel programs up to 7 days prior to the start date if a minimum number of attendees is not met.
Meet Your Instructor:  Aldo Tinoco, Tinoco Safety
Aldo is a bilingual safety professional who has been in construction since 2004 and in safety since 2008.  He is proud to say that he began his career in construction in the "trenches", first as a concrete form carpenter and eventually moving into safety.  Safety has given him the ability to do the two things that he loves; build people and buildings!  He has worked for national and international companies building everything from water treatment facilities to high rise projects and educational facilities.  He now runs his own safety consulting company, Tinoco Safety, and specializes in helping contractors elevate their safety programs and improve their safety culture.  He holds Certified Health and Safety Technician certification as well as Safety Trained Supervisor from BCSP and is an Authorized OSHA trainer.  His company is based out of New York but he travels across the country to meets the clients needs.  He was also born and raised in Georgia!
