CPR Bloodborne Pathogens First Aid

Class will be held:
Friday, October 11, 2024 | 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

This course curriculum is consistent with current 2020 AHA guidelines and meets the requirements of CFR 1910.1030 and CFR 1926.50 (c)

Successful Course Completion:
During this course, you will be asked to practice and demonstrate important skills. If you complete all course requirements and demonstrate the skills correctly, you'll receive a course completion card. Your course completion card is valid for 2 years. 
 
  1) CPR AED
       Includes information about the chain of survival concepts, risk factors, signals for 911 activation, adult-one rescuer CPR and 
       foreign body airway obstruction, how to perform high-quality CPR, describe how to help someone with a drug overdose
        emergency, and how to use an AED on an adult.

  2) First Aid
      Through video, guided discussions, and role play, participants will learn the signs, symptoms, and treatments
      of common medical and traumatic emergencies.

  3) Bloodborne Pathogens
      Includes definition, prevention, universal precautions, immunization, exposure control, and post-exposure
      reporting for incidents involving bloodborne pathogens..

AGC Georgia reserves the right to cancel programs up to 7 days prior to the start date if a minimum number of attendees is not met.
