Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation requests must be received in writing at least 7 business days before the training. In those circumstances, registration fees will be refunded, minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellation requests received less than 7 business days before training cannot be refunded. The request must be sent in writing via email to
parham@agcga.org
AGC Georgia reserves the right to cancel programs up to 7 days prior to the start date if a minimum number of attendees is not met.
Meet Your Instructor: S. Gregory Joy, Smith Currie Oles
Gregg is a partner with Smith Currie Oles and a member of the Georgia Bar. Gregg has divided his practice between public and private contracting, having handled hundreds of construction, commercial and government contract cases since 1984. Gregg has represented prime contractors, owners, subcontractors, and suppliers throughout the United States.
Gregg has represented clients pursuing and defending contract appeals, administrative proceedings, arbitrations and mediations throughout the United States, placing and emphasis on trying to resolve claims to minimize risks and costs.
Gregg has also represented contractors pursuing and defending federal, state and local government contract bid protests and SBA size protests. Gregg also has extensive experience with construction lien and public works bond matters in numerous states, including writing portion of the Georgia Lien and public contract bond laws.
Gregg has been named a Georgia Super Lawyer in Construction Law by the publishers of Law & Politics and Atlanta magazine, to Best Lawyers in America in Construction Law, and Top Rated Lawyer in Construction Law by American Lawyer Media. He has spoken at over 150 seminars on topics including construction law, government contract law, international contracting and environmental law, lien and public contract bond law, and has authored numerous publications and articles on various legal issues.
