The world is becoming more and more VUCA, especially the AEC Industry.  VUCA stands for Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous.  Doesn't that sound like almost every project you've ever been on?  The skills for leadership in this VUCA world go beyond technical ability.  Even great emotional intelligence and relationship skills can't overcome some of these VUCA challenges.  So, what is the answer?  It's Improvisation, which is not about being funny or "winging it".  Improvisation skills as they are applied to leadership focus on listening, making others look good, thinking quickly on your feet, and fully understanding the concept of "yes, and.”  This highly interactive and fun session will delve into improvisation basics and how they apply to leadership, innovation, and successful projects.
