AGC Georgia is proud to again invite you a series of Members First meetings dedicated to construction safety. For the seventh consecutive year, we are hosting Ron Amerson Supervisors’ Safety Award ceremonies in conjunction with safety programs offered in seven cities across Georgia. Chapter leadership looks forward to honoring our members’ safest field supervisors in their own backyard or in a city close to the supervisors’ current jobsite. 

All company executives, safety directors, and project managers who work with each of the award-winning supervisors are encouraged to join them for their ceremony. As the saying goes, safety starts at the top, and what better way to tell your field supervisors you are proud of their efforts and appreciate their dedication to a safe jobsite than by being present when they receive their award! 
 
You won’t want to miss this dynamic presentation, providing tips on how to prevent injuries and keep workers, working. This is not a lecture on how to lift properly as most workers know how to lift.  These tips help address at-risk factors that increase the risk of injuries to construction workers as well as the importance of immediate intervention to prevent injury from getting worse. 

About the presenter: Margaret Adamson is a safety professional who is also a retired physical therapist.  She developed a passion for safety after working for 22 years as a therapist.  Margaret is also an Adjunct Instructor at the Georgia Tech OSHA Research Institute teaching Ergonomics and Occupational Injury Management.
