Last year, more than 160 industry firms donated money to the AGC Georgia Foundation to support construction-related student competitions called Skills Challenges that were held in multiple locations around Georgia. AGC Georgia and our incredible partnering contractors are working on plans for all five events in the 2019 series!
The Skills Challenges are a great time to cheer on high school talent who are interested in a career in construction and are honing their trade skills. Organizers are asking for construction firms to contribute money, provide industry judges for each of the competitions and host hands-on construction-related demonstration exhibits.
AGC Georgia and our partnering contractors work hard to introduce community leaders such as elected local and state officials, and academic representatives, along with many other stakeholders in the success of their community's young people during these events.
