Listed are the requirements that must be met in order to receive your card at the end of the course:
1-Students must have an operating video/web camera that allows us to verify their presence the entire time for class.
2-The entire Zoom sessions will be recorded to archive the class in its entirety.
3-The cameras must stay on except for breaks.
4-Every participant will have to show the instructor a government issued ID on the camera at the beginning of each day.
5-Test and quizzes will be completed via Google forms to students must have access to the internet bandwidth for that as well.

About the Course:
The competent person will learn to recognize potential hazards in construction before an incident occurs.  Individuals will also be able to identify and implement abatement techniques for hazards found on job sites.

a. Fall protection
b. Excavation
c. Electrical safety
d. Hand and power tool safety
e. Personal protective equipment
f.  Heavy equipment safety
g. Fire prevention and protection
h. Hazard communication
i. Recordkeeping
j. OSHA's Focused Inspection Initiative
