About the Course
This course offers not only the basics of blueprint reading, but also the fundamental of construction methods that make blueprint reading meaningful.  It is designed for office personnel, foremen, superintendents, and anyone who desires basic knowledge of construction drawings.

Participants will learn
  • the basic descriptions of pictorial drawings
  • construction materials
  • construction specs
  • how to us a scale
  • to read plot plans
Content also covers the basics of print reading for concrete footings, structural steel framing, welding, unit masonry construction, framing and finish, plumbing systems, air conditioning systems and electrical systems.

**Registrants need to bring a yellow highlighter and an architectural scale to class.**
