About the Course:
The 24-Hour EM 385-1-1 certificate course ensures that contractors, supervisors and government employees are compliant with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) standards for workplace safety and health.

Key topics covered in the course:
• Identify EM 385-1-1 regulations that CDSOs and contactors must observe when inspecting worksite
• Apply EM 385-1-1 standards to prevent common hazards and worksite accidents
• Choose appropriate engineering controls, safety monitoring systems and personal protective equipment (PPE) for USACE-contracted work
• Explain best practices for safe equipment use during various worksite tasks
