The Leader in You: How to Discover and Develop Your Leadership Capabilities

Part 1

Leadership in the construction industry today means much more than winning and successfully completing projects. In 2018, it means knowing that labor shortages are not a short term problem and that radical innovation in construction is right around the corner – and leading accordingly. This program helps assess and build timeless leadership skills and lays out the leadership practices necessary to meet today’s challenges. As important, this program explores the obstacles that keep all of us from becoming strong leaders and provides a blueprint for overcoming those obstacles.

Leadership On the Ground: Translating Leadership Qualities into Daily Practices
Part 2

While it is easy to describe the qualities of a strong leader, becoming one is more difficult. We call this the gap between knowing and doing. The big question is this - if you're going to improve your own leadership, then what are you going to start doing, stop doing, do more of, do less of, or just do differently? In this program, David Rabiner provides you with specific tools and practices you can use right away that will make you more influential and powerful as a leader at work, at home, and in your community. Put these practices on your to-do list and you will become the leader you aspire to be.

About the Presenter
David Rabiner has been a leadership speaker, trainer, facilitator, and executive coach since 1993.  His body of work spans more than a quarter century and includes more than 2,200 presentations in 13 countries and 46 U.S. states. For most of his life, David has been a student of how leaders develop themselves, how people influence each other, and how individuals and teams perform at their best.  David is a popular speaker and trainer in the construction industry, working with AGC chapters all over the country and with private clients of all sizes, including several of the largest construction companies in the world. David’s programs are fast, powerful, and funny, but more important, his presentations are substantive and practical. His common-sense approach and real-world examples are easy to listen to, and they compel change, which is the hallmark of speaking and training excellence.
