With the guidance of the members of the Chapter's Safety & Health Committee, Georgia Branch, AGC has hosted six Safety Stand Down programs since August 2008.

The pro-active safety events have reached more than 65,000 construction industry personnel throughout Georgia and has even reached employees on member jobsites in 15 additional states.

The next Safety Stand Down is planned for Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 7:00 am on jobsites across the southeast. The topic for the program will be heat illnesses. Mark your calendar and make plans now for your company to participate.
