Georgia Branch, AGC is a proud White Level partner of the Partnership for a Sustainable Georgia. This distinction is given to organizations promoting and supporting the goals of the program by providing training, consultation or other services to the program's partners. White Level Partners include organizations such as community groups, trade associations, citizen advisory panels, environmental organizations and consultancies.

Commercial businesses can take greater advantage of the program in the areas of the Yellow, Red or Blue levels of partnership.

Benefits of being a partner

Environmental stewardship makes good business sense, and the Partnership for a Sustainable Georgia Program offers cost savings through increased productivity and higher process efficiencies, as well as improved employee job satisfaction, retention and recruitment.

The group worked with a variety of stakeholders to develop incentives for participating in the Partnership Program. These benefits increase as a business or organization moves up through three progressive levels: Yellow, Red and Blue.

Discounted Classes at Georgia Tech: Partners also are eligible to receive discounted rates on energy and environmental courses offered by Georgia Tech.

P2 Adoption Funds: Yellow, Red and Blue level Partners in the Partnership Program can apply for U.S. EPA funding to evaluate and implement pollution prevention practices.

This program benefit, called P2 Adoption Funds, is made possible by EPA’s Pollution Prevention Grants (PPG) Program.
