This 4-hour course is required by state law for NPDES Level 1A recertification and stands for three years. No exam is required in this course. Attendees must present a government issued photo ID and current certification card or proof of valid certification.

Individuals may take this course one year before their certification expires. Recertification (continuing education) courses taken prior to the 1 year mark are  not accepted.

Individuals who fail to obtain at least 4 hours of continuing education prior to their expiration date are required to retake the course and pass the exam before certification is reinstated.

Certification cards are provided by the GAWSCC after completion of this course.
To obtain the "certified personnel" certification you need to:

(1) Attend an approved Level 1A Seminar
(2) Submit an application for certification
(3) Pass the Level 1A certification exam

Length: 1/2 day; 8:00 am - Noon

Course Location: Typically held at the AGC Training Center --- NOTE: This course is periodically held in cities other than Atlanta, thus the course is not at the AGC Training Center, please note the course's location on the course calendar for the session you are wanting to attend.
