The full-day High Performance Building Design workshop focuses on strategies for new building design and major energy upgrades to existing facilities, including an overview of the major market drivers for energy efficiency such as Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), ENERGY STAR, the 2030 Climate Challenge and the ASHRAE Energy Design Guides.
The workshop will cover high-performance design strategies such as building siting, daylighting, and HVAC design, as well as a discussion on energy modeling, and challenges and incentives for high-performance building.
This class has been approved by AIA, CSI, ICC, and USGBC for credential maintenance.
