The majority of the members' commitment to safety is evidenced every day in Georgia. Members are recognized by the AGC of America, as well as, the Georgia Branch. The National AGC Safety Awards (NASA) Program, has approximately 3,500 general contractor and specialty contractor members participating each year. The NASA program is a mechanism for contractors to compare their safety records against national averages, and with AGC contractors of similar size and types of construction.

The Georgia Branch, AGC safety awards are divided into manhour divisions, observing First, Second, and Third Place winners within each division. Georgia Branch, AGC member firms who receive AGC of America and Georgia Branch, AGC safety awards are recognized each year at the Awards Breakfast at the Georgia Branch, AGC Annual Convention.
