Opening session speakers, Rob McKinney, aka The ConAppGuru and JBKnowledge technologist, and Alan Bracken, leadership and engagement guru, kick off the day.  You’ve heard about tracking from safety and productivity points of view, but what apps, software and hardware should you consider? Rob will share innovative ways to track employees, equipment and materials! As a former contractor, Alan experienced and continues to see a leadership crisis in the construction industry. Every day contractors face people problems. Sometimes it’s not having enough people. Other times the obstacles are your very own team members. To solve the crisis, industry must adopt different approaches to get new results needed to thrive.

Following the opening session, we’ll dedicate time for networking, visiting exhibitors, lunch and more sessions.

********Beginning at 1:00 p.m., attendees from eight firms (first-come, first-serve with RSVP to abercrombie@agcga.org) are invited to meet with Rob in 15-minute time slots for a complimentary, no obligation Construction Technology Health Check. By answering a few questions relating to your construction processes, Rob can provide a formal report, and review specific provider-neutral suggestions to maximize technology on your projects.

Other learning sessions offered during the program include:

  • Leveraging BIM to Reduce Risk and Increase Savings  (CM-BIM credit)
  • Drone Use in Construction
  • Job Site Connectivity with Mobile Camera Surveillance
  • Reality Capture and BIM  (CM-BIM credit)
  • Embracing Analytics to Make Data-Driven Decisions
