AGC Georgia Annual Convention

This year’s convention begins on Sunday, June 11. At 9:00 am, we'll tee-off in our annual golf tournament and then reconvene at 5:30 pm at the resort for our Welcome Reception and Dinner Party. All members and their families are invited to the evening events. It's going to be casual and FUN! Children’s activities are planned during the welcome events and will be supervised by resort staff. 

As a former member and chair of the Young Leadership Program (YLP), I'm very pleased with their large participation at recent Annual Conventions and look forward to another strong showing by these industry leaders. They are an asset to AGC Georgia and are a critical component to our association's future success. 

We'll gather on Monday morning for our Annual Meeting, complete with keynote presentations from AGC of America CEO, Steve Sandherr and President, Art Daniel. That afternoon is open for everyone to explore the area. On Tuesday morning, we'll host our award ceremony and recognize the best of the best construction projects built by our member contractors and present corporate safety awards. The Annual Dinner close the convention in eloquent style on Tuesday evening. The 2017 Skill, Integrity and Responsibility (SIR) Award is presented at this program and the new officers and board members are installed. This year, I have the special privilege of presenting the SIR Award to Phil Beck and passing the gavel to Scott Clark.

AGC Georgia staff members are working hard to create an excellent experience for you, your family and colleagues. Make plans to join us at the 2017 Annual Convention! It's a great time to renew business relationships and make new contacts to help you grow your business.

All attendees are invited to gather at 5:30 pm in their shorts and sandals for a reception followed by the dinner party starting at 6:30 pm! This is a great time to greet fellow members to renew business relationships and make new friends.
