Welcome from AGC Georgia President, Trey Anderson

This year’s convention begins with a huge Welcome Party & Dinner on Thursday, June 9 at 5:30 pm. All members and their families are invited to this casual event! It's a great time to renew business relationships and make new contacts. Children’s activities are planned during the evening and will be supervised by resort staff. 

We are thrilled with the recent surge in participation at the Annual Convention by our Young Leadership Program (YLP) members! Their involvement in AGC Georgia is critical to our association's future success. They always host a great networking event for YLP members and spouses/guests on Friday evening and have a strong presence at all other activities throughout the convention.  

Additional social opportunities for all convention attendees are planned for Saturday evening. The Reception & Annual Dinner close the convention in eloquent style. The 2016 Skill, Integrity and Responsibility (SIR) Award is presented at this program and the new officers and board members are installed. This year, I have the special privilege of presenting the SIR Award to my friend, Chris Sheridan.

AGC Georgia staff members are working hard to create excellent networking opportunities and recognition programs, an informative business session, a fun golf tournament and activities for the younger kids and teens. Rest assured, there will also be plenty of time to relax by the pool and enjoy the beach! New this year,CompTrust AGC Mutual Captive Insurance Company (MCIC) is hosting a Beach Bash on Saturday afternoon! Beach chairs and umbrellas will be provided for members, along with a buffet lunch and loads of fun and camaraderie!

Make plans to join us and invite your colleagues and their families to join, too! If you are a golfer, please note the tournament is on the morning of Thursday, June 9. Participation in the tournament will require a Wednesday, June 8 arrival. 

It’s going to be a great time, and I hope to see you on the coast!
