General contractors have clear responsibility for crews and machines in use of their sites. This program will equip general contractors, site supervisors and safety managers with check and watch lists for the following:
- Crane types, uses and capabilities
- Entry to exit responsibilities
- Critical communication points
- Crew qualification or certification requirements
- Ground conditions, power lines, congested areas - factors that affect crews, work and machine use
Upon completion of the course, participants will have a better knowledge of managing crane responsibilities, and utilizing best practices to keep crews and machines running smoothly.
