The Associated General Contractors of America's Supervisory Training Program (STP) is a construction-specific training curriculum developed, updated and field-tested by and for contractors.  Supervisory skill - or the lack of it - directly affects every company's bottom line.  You make your money in the field, and STP can help you improve your organization's bottom line.

The Leadership and Motivation session explains the tangible and intangible benefits of effective supervision and motivation of others on the team.  Participants will engage in open conversations on the following:
  • The dollars and sends of people in construction
  • The role of the construction supervisor
  • Helping people perform better
  • Motivating and leading others
  • Positive feedback
  • Training and orienting crew memebers
  • Teams and team building
  • Leadership skills in action

About the instructor - With more than 30 years in the construction industry, Al Petrangeli has worked on iconic projects across the nation.  He has a passion for people, building teams and the construction of challenging projects.  His dynamic personality and first-hand knowledge of today's construction market makes him an excellent mentor
and instructor.
