AGC Georgia and ACEC Georgia are pleased to offer members a networking breakfast featuring a keynote presentation by Rick Dunn, Director of Georgia’s Environmental Protection Division. The design and construction communities are extremely vested in decisions made within Georgia’s EPD and the agency’s engagement in court cases like Waters of the US and Georgia’s battle with Alabama over water rights. Among many other areas of interest to our members, Mr. Dunn and his team are responsible for setting regulatory requirements on stormwater permitting and providing guidance to the legislature on various initiatives impacting current environmental standards. 

Immediately prior to beginning his new position in June 2016, Dunn was Deputy Director of Office of Planning and Budget. He earned a bachelor's degree from Emory University and a master's degree from the University of Georgia.
